Happy Anniversary to Me (and Him).

A year ago today I read my vows to my husband.  We stood before 60 of our favorite people, in Sayulita, Mexico, making promises of forever to each other.  The year has flown by.

Every day, I think of our wedding.  Standing there, watching his eyes tear up, hearing words in slow motion, watching the faces of those around you fill with joy at the happiness you've found.  Watching my dad cry at the sight of me.  My sister full of emotion as she toasted us in Italian, Spanish & English.  All in happy slow motion.  Pinch me, this is my wedding.  Pinch me, everyone I love is here.   So real, but it feels like I'm dreaming.  Weddings are amazing, magical things and that day, despite what you may have read here, was the best day ever.  I wish that I could relive it over and over and over again.  Smiles, laugher, tears, tequila, dancing, kissing.  Magic and love and happiness in the air.

And a year later, it's even sweeter.  My love has grown.  Our vows mean something.  Those moments down there are magic when I think of them.  And oh, how I miss you, Sayulita.  And to my husband, I love you more than ever.  To steal from your vows- my heart is your piñata.  I love you. I love you. I love you.

Now when do we all get to go back to dance our faces off?

xo,

T.

I am so excited to see your wedding on SMP today, (sorry, that sounds totally stalker-ish) but because my hunny and I just booked our honeymoon for the same villa where you had your wedding! Seeing it decorated so beautifully and to hear your fond words of Sayulita makes my heart jump for joy! So happy for you!
